The brief
Stray to Play needed one dependable home for adoptable dogs, urgent cases, second-chance stories, foster applications, and donations. The information had to stay current without adding more manual work for a volunteer-run rescue.
The idea
Put the dogs first. The homepage moves from the mission to real adoptable dogs, then gives adoption, fostering, and donating their own obvious paths. Warm type, soft shapes, and the rescue's pine, sky, and gold palette keep the experience hopeful without hiding difficult stories.
The build
A responsive Next.js site connected to Shelterluv for live adoptable-dog profiles and application links, with urgent-care campaigns, rescue stories, accessible forms, social metadata, and graceful fallbacks when the external feed is unavailable.
